Health & Social Care Department Vision and Intent
Within the Health and Social Care department it is our primary aim to enable all pupils to achieve to the best of their ability. This will be achieved through planning lessons collaboratively which allows learning through a variety of methods, differentiated appropriately to ensure individual needs are met.

This will be achieved through planning lessons collaboratively which allows learning through a variety of methods, differentiated appropriately to ensure individual needs are met. Our priority and overall goal is to provide a curriculum which will ensure pupils can apply skills and theory through hands on experience. Pupils are given the opportunity to work vocationally through activities which underpin each unit of study and through work experience during key stage 4 and 5. This will develop opportunities and provide a pathway for those pupils who wish to progress into further and higher education and ultimately a Health and Social Care career.
