The History curriculum allows students at Park View to:
- Gain a deep chronological understanding of British History from pre-1066 to present day.
- Have the confidence to form strong arguments and make sustained judgements which demonstrate secured history knowledge.
- Be critical of information they are exposed to through their rigorous analysis of sources and interpretations.
- Develop their understanding of historical concepts including cause and consequence, significance, similarities and differences and change and continuity.
- Want to explore, remember and question events that have shaped the world they live in.
- Demonstrate resilience and instil a work ethic through high levels of productivity which will prepare them for post 16 study or their chosen career.
