๐Ÿฉบ Attention Year 13 Students, Parents & Carers

The NHS has launched a free MenB vaccination programme to help protect young people from meningococcal B (MenB)- a rare but very serious bacterial infection that can cause meningitis and septicaemia. The illness can become ...life-threatening very quickly.

Who is eligible?
โœ… Current Year 13 students (born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008)
โœ… Anyone under 25 who is starting university or moving into halls of residence for the first time this autumn.

๐Ÿ’‰ Two doses are needed, given 4 weeks apart, so it's important to arrange your first vaccination as soon as possible to ensure you're fully protected before the new academic year begins.

If you're eligible, the NHS will contact current Year 13 students directly, while eligible university students can book through participating community pharmacies.

Please take a moment to check if you or someone in your family is eligible, and help us spread the word by sharing this post with friends and family.
